This is the official home of The Travelling Monkeys. Share in the lives and adventures of Willy, Rudi, Uti, Upsi, Eddy, Mikey and all their friends with lots of funny monkey videos and photos
A very special day out takes The Travelling Monkeys to Doncaster in Yorkshire to YWP, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, home to some amazing animals and the site of sensational rescues, including lions and polar bears.
One of the lemurs is starstruck to see Willy and Rudi on site, whereas a young giraffe pokes his tongue out at them. One of the tigers gives them a great view of her tonsils before doing what all cats do, falling asleep. Upsi’s cousins are there, too, running wild.
A fabulous day out, complimented by delicious food in the on site Safari Cafe.
On a day out in York, The Travelling Monkeys visit York’s Chocolate Story, dressed in their own unique design Willy Wonka outfits complete with hats, to learn all about that most delicious of foods, CHOCOLATE!
Mikey finally finds the right size milk bottle for all his milkshakes before enjoying a delicious ice cream shake in the cafe.
Next stop is to the Jorvik Viking Centre to investigate York’s Norse heritage. Is there any outfit these boys don’t have?!
It is Jimmy’s 1st day out travelling. He enjoys exercising and taking care of himself so his first visit is to the body exhibit at Life in Newcastle to understand more about how muscles work.
A special day out in Manchester sees The Travelling Monkeys on the famous Coronation Street Tour.
Sporting their own custom outfits, they hit the street where it has all been happening for years and get a sneak peek behind the scenes before ordering a pint in one of the most famous pubs in the world, the Rovers Return.
The Travelling Monkeys head to Shakespeare Country, which is Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language. He wrote lots of poems and plays and is famous worldwide. Tourists flock from all over the world to visit his home town.
Willy and Rudi spend the day dressed as “The Bard” (as Shakepeare is also known) in his honour.
They spy one of his cats in the garden of his house and check out some of the other properties associated with him, including Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Anne was Shakespeare’s wife.
Willy & Rudi also stop outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (home of the Royal Shakespeare Company or RSC) where plays are still being put on to this day. See more at www.rsc.org.uk
Afterwards, Willy and Rudi change into their Country Gent outfits to visit one of the National Trust residences nearby, Baddesley Clinton to take a look at how people used to live years ago. Find out more at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/baddesley-clinton
