Do you Care to be Scared?

It’s that time of year again when ghosts and ghouls come out to play with monkeys dressed up to scare the living daylights out of you.

Check out Jimmy in his Wizard costume, Scruffy with his werewolf fangs and Bobo looking scary as always in his skull mask.

Lots of decorations this year turned the Monkeys’ pad into a haunted mansion complete with skeletons.  Beware!

Pancakes, Love and Monkeys

Ah, love is in the air…

The love of discovering muffins and cinnamon churros…

The love of scoffing delicious buttermilk pancakes with bananas and maple syrup on Pancake Day…

The love of dressing up and sharing special times with special friends and loved ones…

The love of balloons…

And watching “From Russia With Love” on Valentine’s Day evening…

Thank Bananas, It’s Christmas!

It’s the festive season again. Hurrah!

Treats were laid out on Christmas Eve for Santa and Rudolph for all their hard work.

Rudi is still up to his old tricks (the old ones are by far the best!)

Wally got a new jumper from Santa and wore it all Christmas.

Honorary monkey (a teddy who is best friends with monkeys) Braydy sorted out all the festive viewing by planning the TV for everyone.

Eddy’s new Christmas top was a little less subtle – as was Rudi’s new badge!!

Uti loves this time of the year because he knows Santa is around and that he has been a good boy all year.

Mikey (in between milkshakes) thought he’d have a go at being a reindeer.

Eddy was bowled over to receive a stocking bigger than him – so much chocolate!

The late snow gave us a chance to build a snowman.  It turned out rather unexpected-looking…

Monkey, you’re a firework

The zip of the rockets…

The bangs…the flashes…the orchestral music…

Yes, Fireworks and Bonfire Night are upon us and what better way to celebrate than with sparklers, hot soup and foot long hotdogs?

It’s getting pretty chilly so everyone was glad to be in hats, coats, gloves and scarves as they enjoyed the show.

Eddy, in his new outfit, loved his first sparkler.

Rudi?  Well, Rudi was just Rudi!

Fright Night

Halloween is here again!

Rudi decided to be Count Rudi for the night.  Willy went for the werewolf look complete with huge fangs.

Uti was able to fill his candy corn bag to the brim with lots of delicious goodies.

Eddy made a new friend in Frankenstein and was loving his new mask and neck bolts.  His Trick or Treat bag was huge and he did his best to fill it.

All the monkeys watched Final Destination 5 for scares.  Pretty gruesome!

Oh, and Bobo… Have you ever seen anything as scary as a baboon in a skull mask?..
